BAKER COUNTY – (From the Baker County Sheriff’s Office) If you are looking for ways to give back to your community this holiday season, BCSO has a few opportunities for you!

The Baker County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Salvation Army Angel Tree. This program allows children the opportunity to experience the joy of Christmas morning. All gifts are distributed locally. If you are interested in participating:

1)Come to the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office;

2)Choose a tag from the Christmas tree;

3)Purchase the gift listed on the tag;

4)Deliver the unwrapped gift, along with the tag, to the Salvation Army by December 22nd.

In addition to the Angel Tree, BCSO has partnered with Baker County Safe Communities Coalition to host a holiday food drive to benefit the Sharing Pantry Program. During the month of December, drop off non-perishable food items (no expired items, please) in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office. All items will be distributed to local Sharing Pantries.

Thank you for making the holidays a little brighter for Baker County!
