BAKER COUNTY – (Release from Baker County) Baker County Road Department and Noxious Weed Department will conduct road maintenance and vegetation management methods along Baker County right of ways beginning as early as March 23, 2026, weather permitting, and ending as late as December 31, 2026. Baker County crews will utilize various control methods including grading, mowing, and herbicide application to control and mitigate growth of noxious weeds on approximately 1,852 miles of Baker County right of ways with the goal of preserving local industries and preserving Baker County’s way of life.
What residents are to expect:
Landowners who wish to maintain a section of County managed right of way may do so upon securing a contract with the Baker County Road Department and meeting a number of other requirements.
