RICHLAND — A popular boat launch in Baker County will soon reopen for public use, according to recent information from Baker County Parks. Hewitt Park, out of Richland, is a frequently used boat ramp and access point to the Powder River arm of Brownlee Reservoir.
Crews have been renovating both Hewitt and Holcomb Parks in the area since last summer. Baker County Parks officials say the Hewitt Boat Ramp is expected to open backup for public use around the second week in December.
