BAKER COUNTY — January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, and staff at the Baker County Health Department are taking steps to spread that awareness. The clinic have put together a bulletin board, as well as shared online, information regarding cervical cancer and its prevention. According to statistics shared by BCHD, “…in 2020, an estimated 89,800 women were diagnosed with cervical cancer in the Region and more than 47,500 women died from the disease.”
