BAKER COUNTY – Another successful Drug Take Back Day is in the books. The Baker County Sheriff’s Office reports that during this past weekend’s event in Baker City, a total of 95.2 lbs of unused, unwanted and expired medications were properly disposed of.
This Drug Take Back event was part of a National Drug Take Back Day. The Baker City Event is a collaboration between the Baker County Sheriff’s Office, New Directions Northwest Inc., Baker County Safe Communities Coalition and Elkhorn Media Group.Those interested in disposing of unwanted medications can still drop off medications but need to call the Sheriff’s Office to make an appointment. 541-523-6415
