BAKER COUNTY — Deputies with the Baker County Sheriff’s Office are spending time within local schools in the area. It’s never too late to stop learning, right? The Sheriff’s Office has taken to social media to share a couple of their Deputies who were recently spotted in the classroom.

BCSO reports that Deputy Maldonado spent an evening at South Baker Intermediate School showing off his reading skills as a guest reader to promote literacy.

Also, Deputy Henshaw took part in the festivities at Pine Eagle School District during their pajama day. Find a photo of Deputy Henshaw, complete in his blue jammies underneath his armored vest and gun belt, alongside a group of Pine Eagle Youngsters, also in pajamas.
