Baker County Commissioners update Baker Co. Parks Ordinance

BAKER CITY — The Baker County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted on and passed the updated Baker County Parks Ordinance (2025-07) at their December 3rd meeting. Commissioner Michelle Kaseberg read 2025-07, stating, โ€œโ€ฆthere is need to update the Baker County Parks Ordinance to ensure public safety, accommodate changing needs of the community, and incorporate order and structure into the ordinance.โ€

No members of the public provided comment for, or in opposition to, the passage of the ordinance. Following unanimous passage from the Board of Commissioners, the Baker County Parks Ordinance (2025-07) went into effect immediately and repealed all previous ordinances regulating Baker County Parks.
