Baker City Tree Board Hosting Downtown Tree Upkeep Day April 22

BAKER CITY – (Release from the Baker City Tree Board) Baker City’s Tree Board is celebrating a combined Arbor Day/Earth Day event by providing some much-needed TLC to downtown street trees on Saturday, April 22nd. If you have a few hours to spare, please bring your work gloves, your water bottle, and some sturdy shoes and join us! We will be removing pavers within the tree wells, adding mulch, and pruning trees. Volunteers will be meeting in front of Ace Hardware on Resort Street at 9am.

This event is taking place in conjunction with other Earth Day events occurring in downtown Baker City.
