Baker City to Hold Three Town Halls on Public Safety Fee

BAKER CITY — The City of Baker City has scheduled three public town halls for residents to give their input on the newly approved public safety fee.

The city council approved the resolution August 22 by a 4-2 vote. The fee takes effect October 1 and the current resolution calls for a monthly fee of $15 for residential water/sewer accounts and $50 for commercial accounts

The town halls are scheduled for:

Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Churchill, located at 3451 Broadway Ave.

Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at Crossroads Art Center, located at 2020 Auburn Ave.

Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Community Connections, located at 2810 Cedar Street.
