BAKER CITY – The Baker City Rotary Club recently donated $2,270 to Baker Community Literacy Coalition. The donation will be used to purchase books for their book program for elementary students.
According to the Baker City Rotary Club, during the previous year, the Coalition distributed 1,224 books, of which 434 were directly purchased with Rotary funds.
The Baker City Rotary Club has been a long-term partner with the Literacy Coalition.
