Baker City resident arrested for harassment and drug possession

BAKER CITY – Skyler Scott Joe Payne (39) of Baker City was recently arrested by the Baker City Police Department (BCPD) on harassment and drug possession charges. According to the BCPD, at around 7:20 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, officers responded to a reported criminal trespass. Skyler had returned to a residential address that she’d previously been trespassed from by the owner back in December 2024. Prior to arriving, Skyler reportedly called the victim numerous times despite being told to stop by both the victim and law enforcement.
After being taken into custody by the BCPD, Skyler was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Her specific charges were Criminal Trespass II, Telephonic Harassment, and Unlawful Possession of Meth.
