Baker City Public Works celebrates 10 years with no time loss injury

BAKER CITY — Many folks far and wide agree that Baker City is a safe place to live, and, according to the City of Baker City, it is a safe outfit to work for as well. Those dedicated to the upkeep of city operations are celebrating over 10 years of no time lost due to injury within the Public Works Department.

Baker City Public works gathered for a photo on January 8^th, 2025, which was the 10-year safety marker for city workers. The milestone indicates that during that time, no public works employee has needed to miss work due to injury acquired on the job.
