Baker City Police investigating attempted robbery

BAKER CITY – The Baker City Police Department is actively working a case involving an attempted robbery at 500 Campbell in Baker City. The incident took place around 4:20am on September 29, 2025 according to reports.

According to Chief Duby, a suspect brandished something resembling a gun, the clerk told the suspect they could not get in the till and the suspect fled.
