BAKER CITY – The City of Baker City has moved back down to Stage 1 of their Water Curtailment Plan.
According to the City of Baker City, “this plan has four stages including Stage 1-Alert Status, Stage 2- Warning Status, Stage 3-Critical Status and Stage 4-Emergency Status.
The Alert Status requests voluntary conservation from industrial, commercial and residential customers. Daytime outdoor watering is once again permitted.
The Public Works Department extends its appreciation to the community for their water conservation efforts over the last two months. Those efforts made it possible for the department to continue to meet the water supply needs of the community.”
