Baker City man jailed on burglary, theft, and mischief charges

BAKER CITY — More information is expected to be released on a man who was arrested Thursday, August 6th on burglary, theft, and mischief charges.

At approximately 7:57 p.m. on Thursday, August 6th, a Baker City Police Officer responded to a location on Vista Heights Drive in Baker City at the request for officer contact. One subject was taken into custody at the location. Corey Alan Stevens, 37, of Baker City was arrested for Burglary in the First Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree, and Theft in the Third Degree.

Stevens was transported and lodged at the Baker County Jail. As of early Monday afternoon, an arraignment had not yet been held on the charges. We’ll provide official updates as they are released.
