Baker City man identified after fleeing the scene of a traffic stop

BAKER COUNTY – 43-year-old Derrick Lamont Dodge of Baker City fled the scene after being stopped along Highway 7 outside of Baker City for a traffic violation. According to reports from Oregon State Police in Baker County during the stop the driver, Derrick Lamont Dodge provided a false name and date of birth. Dodge then ran off from the traffic stop. The passenger 40-year-old Lacey Dawn Kolb was arrested by cite and release for Hindering Prosecution and on an arrest warrant from Malheur County. Dodge was identified after fleeing the scene.
