Baker City man accused of sending sexual photos to minor

BAKER CITY – A Baker City man faces a felony charge after allegedly sending explicit photos to a minor.
According to a probable cause affidavit, 19-year-old Samuel Madison Jr. sent a picture of his penis and other inappropriate photos and messages over the course of a month to a minor female that he knew personally.
Near the end of December, the victim and her mother showed Baker City Police detectives social media messages on the app Discord between her and Madison. Some of the messages included nude photos and sexual conversations.
Detectives contacted Madison on January 4 at a home in Baker. He admitted to sending nude photos and sexually explicit messages to the victim. He also admitted he knew the victim personally and that she was underage.
Madison was arrested and charged with one count of Luring a Minor, a Class-C felony with a maximum sentence of up to five years in prison and/or a fine of up to $125,000.
