Baker City flags at half-staff for former councilmember, mayor Peter Ellingson

BAKER CITY — Flags at municipal buildings around Baker City will be flown at half-staff through Wednesday, in honor of former mayor and long-time city councilmember Peter Ellingson, who passed away Sunday at the age of 78.

Ellingson served the city in several capacities including as mayor and a council member.
