Baker City Fire Department respond quickly to vehicle fire

BAKER CITY — Baker City Fire and Rescue Station 24 reports a quick response on a vehicle fire Tuesday in Baker City. The station reports that a shift was dispatched to the fire located on 14th Street, near the intersection with Campbell Street.

Baker Fire reports that Engine 2431 arrived on scene and observed two vehicles involved in fire and heavy smoke. The crew established a water supply and stretched a line to douse the flames and perform mop up. A cause of the fire remains unknown, and no injuries were reported. Also, no structures were affected by the blaze.
