BAKER CITY – Baker City Fire and Rescue B-Shift spent some time this week working with extrication tools. According to the department two firefighters who took part in this exercise, between calls, worked as rescuers while another delegated tasks and worked as the incident commander.
This training, called “dash lift” is where a large opening is created in a vehicle for rescuers.
Baker City Fire and Rescue thanks B&K Recycling for making their wrecking yard available and being generous hosts for the training.
