Baker City Delays Chip Sealing Project Until Aug. 28

BAKER CITY – (Release from Baker City Public Works) Due to wet weather conditions being forecasted for the week of August 21, the Baker City Public Works Department has delayed this year’s chip seal project the week of August 28.
The list of streets to be treated, as well as a map showing the street locations, can be found on the City’s website at www.bakercity.com as well as the City’s Facebook page.
The City is asking anyone whose street will be worked on to please not let any standing water accumulate on the street in front of your house and to remove all vehicles from the street before work gets underway.
