Baker City Council looking to fill an open position

BAKER CITY – The Baker City Council is in need of a positive and dedicated person to fill an open position. 

According to information from City Manager Jonathan Cannon, “this position would serve a term to fill a spot from a previous resignation. The term ends December 2022.”

Duties: Some duties include but not limited to: attend semi-monthly meetings on Tuesday evening and as scheduled by Council, review and approve the annual budget, establish long and short term objectives, oversee the effectiveness of programs, pass ordinances and resolutions, and help serve as a public servant to our community.
