BAKER CITY – (Information by Baker City Fire Department) Late last week the Baker City Fire Department announced that the residential burning ban has officially lifted concurrent with Oregon Department of Forestry lowering the fire danger levels to Moderate.
Residents of Baker City are reminded that they are still governed by Baker City Ordinance #3302. If you do not have a 2022 burn permit, the permits are available at the front window of the fire department at 1616 Second Street. Please use caution as areas are still dry especially shrubbery and under trees.
