Baker City blood drives coming up August 24-25

BAKER CITY – The final round of summer blood drives for Eastern Oregon is almost here. For anyone in the Baker County area looking to donate blood this month, the American Red Cross will be hosting a two-day blood drive Monday August 24 and Tuesday August 25 in Baker City at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

As always, the drive will run from noon to 6:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The church is located at 2625 Hughes Ln Baker City. All blood types are needed and even a single unit can make a difference.
