Bailey McCracken receives Prairie City Fiber Fest Scholarship

PRAIRIE CITY – (Release from Prairie City Fiber Fest, Inc.)

Prairie City Fiber Fest, Inc is pleased to announce Bailey McCracken as this year’s scholarship recipient. Ms. McCracken is a graduating senior from Grant Union High School who has been active in 4H and FFA for many years, most recently as the Grant Union FFA Chapter President. She plans on using the scholarship to pursue a degree in Animal Science and Nutrition, starting at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado. In the future she hopes to become a beef nutritionist to support beef production. “Throughout FFA, I have been the president which needs people skills and critical thinking to get through problems that come up with planning our events. This scholarship will help me achieve my goals by allowing me to focus on my education.”
