Avalanche takes life of snowmobiler in Idaho

ADAMS COUNTY(Released by Adams County Sheriff’s Office)-On 12/15/2024 at 12:21 pm Adams County Sheriff received a report of a snowmobiler buried by an avalanche near Wilson creek trail head, Anderson creek area. Snowmobilers in the area assisted in getting the individual out of the snow pack. Life saving measures were given, Jason Haines 41 of Kuna, succumbed to his injuries on scene.

Sheriff Zollman would like to convey thanks to Valley County Sheriff’s Office who assisted with search and rescue, and first response. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family during their time of grief.
