Austin McAllister is BMHD’s New Year baby

JOHN DAY – Austin McAllister is the first baby born in 2024 at Blue Mountain Hospital in John Day!

Austin’s parents are Tanner and Kelsey McAllister. Baby boy Austin was born on January 5^th, 2024 at 9:10 p.m. His weight was measured at 7lbs, 1oz and his length was recorded at 20 inches.

According to Blue Mountain Hospital District and Foundation Public Relations Director Jena Knowles, the McAllister parents received a gift basket with donated items and gift certificates from nine local businesses.
