LA GRANDE – At approximately 3:00 a.m. on September 23, The La Grande Police Department (LGPD) responded to the apartments at 703 12th Street (La Grande Plaza) for a report of someone suffering from facial injuries. While on scene, officers learned that the victim, a 48-year-old woman from Union, had been assaulted by a male suspect who had attempted to steal her purse.
