A call to the property manager revealed the current tenant was gone and there should not have been anyone at the residence.
Further investigation led to the arrest of Nikole L. Thamert (DOB-11/03/1974), Jon M. Weathers (DOB-07/18/1970), and Emily A. Wilson (DOB/03/21/1983) for Burglary in the First Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary in the First Degree and Possession of Burglary Tools. The above-named individuals were in the process of removing items from the residence and loading them in a vehicle.
K-9 Molly was dispatched to the scene and assisted deputies and Oregon State Police Officers with locating one of the suspects who had attempted to hide. Sheriff Bowen would like to thank the Union County Deputies involved and Oregon State Police for their assistance.
