Areas of Harney County are under a Level 1 “Be Ready” evacuation notice

HARNEY COUNTY-According to Harney County Emergency Management Several areas of Harney County are under a Level 1 “Be Ready” Evacuation Notice. As of 7:30pm Thursday, March 27, 2025, Level 1 flood alert went out to Stancliff Rd, East of North Foley, Wildmill Ln, East of Silver Creek Rd, and North of Hwy 20. Prepare now. Leave early if you need extra time or feel unsafe.

Motorists who encounter water over the roadway are urged to proceed with caution, and if you cannot see the pavement, it may not be safe to proceed. The public is asked to report any high water on the roads to the Harney County Emergency Management at 541-589-0112.
