NORTH POWDER — With the season’s first snow on the ground, Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort is buzzing with anticipation as winter approaches, ready to unveil exciting enhancements for the upcoming season. Operating on 100% natural snow, the resort says it has its equipment primed and staff poised for action.
While the customary post-Thanksgiving opening is on the horizon, the actual debut in early to mid-December depends on favorable weather conditions and sufficient snowfall.
Chelsea Judy of Anthony Lakes says this season introduces “Thirty Dollar Thursdays,” offering a $30 lift ticket on Thursdays to encourage both seasoned and new enthusiasts to hit the slopes.
Judy says visitors can look forward to practical improvements, including upgraded run signage and the addition of a warming yurt at the Nordic parking lot, providing a comfortable spot for respite.
Anthony Lakes emphasizes that, despite these changes, the core winter experience remains intact. The resort is eager to welcome back familiar faces and introduce newcomers to the joys of winter sports.
