Another scam hitting Harney County residents

HARNEY COUNTY-There is another scam alert that Harney County residents should be aware of. The new scam is being received by text message stating that your bank account has a point of sale debit of $3,489.54 and that is is unusual for your bank account. Then in the same text, it asks you to click the link to either confirm or deny the transaction.

Don’t click the link! By clicking the link you are giving the scammers access to your phone and passwords.
