Another arrest made in Cadillac Jack’s shooting

PENDLETON – Another arrest has been made in a shooting that occurred in the parking lot at Cadillac Jack’s Saloon in Pendleton on September 12 during the week of the Pendleton Round-Up.

Pendleton Police (PPD) Chief Chuck Byram said that a PPD detective in conjunction with the Umatilla County District Attorney’s Office presented the case to the grand jury which resulted in the indictment of both Ricardo Lara Ruiz, who had already been arrested, and Alan Alejandro Rodriguez for attempted first-degree murder as well as other charges.

Rodriguez was arrested on September 18, his listed charges including the attempted first-degree murder include felony first-degree assault and felony unlawful use of weapon. His bail is currently listed at $500,000.

Ruiz’s bail is listed at $1,000,000.
