Anderes spoke on the Farm Bill

LA GRANDE – Paul Anderes of Union County, the President of Oregon Association of Counties and member of the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association, recently spoke to a group of members of the National Association of Counties in Washington, D.C.  Anderes spoke on a new Farm Bill that will be introduced in 2023 on the necessity to elevate the importance of livestock processing availability in the west.  

Anderes said, “Our livestock producers can no longer survive on the price set by large packers”.  

A new Farm Bill is introduced every five years.
