VALE – The American Red Cross will be in Vale this Thursday, March 13th for a community discussion. The public is invited to the Vale Senior Center to learn about community preparedness and evacuation. It’ll begin at 5:30 p.m. on the 13th.

According to the Red Cross, our local Cascades Region covers Oregon and Southwest Washington. Approximately 2,600 volunteers provide response, relief and recovery services; save lives through health and safety training; provide assistance to active military members, their families and local veterans; and ensure the organization maintains a safe and stable blood supply for patients in need.
