AMBER ALERT: 4-year-old girl abducted by suspect in Kennewick

KENNEWICK — An Amber Alert has been issued for a 4-year-old girl who was forcefully abducted Saturday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Authorities say Grace Susmilch was taken from South Conway Place in Kennewick at approximately 10:45 a.m. by 41-year-old Matthew Susmilch. Investigators believe the child faces a credible threat to her health and safety.

Grace is described as 3 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 40 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing white elastic shorts.

Matthew Susmilch is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 209 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has distinct tattoos covering his neck, chest, back, full sleeves, and both legs.

Their vehicle and direction of travel remain unknown. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.
