Altercation leads to arrest in Huntington

HUNTINGTON – (Release by the Baker County Sheriff’s Office) On January 19, 2021 at approximately 6:09 a.m., Baker County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received a report of a disturbance that occurred at 475 E. Jefferson in Huntington. 

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who was being treated by medics. It was alleged that the suspect, Wayne Anthony McFadden (51 yoa), grabbed the victim and pushed her around the home, causing her to sustain visible injuries.

Deputies contacted McFadden in his vehicle on Madison Street. He was arrested and charged with Assault IV (domestic violence), Menacing, and Harassment. McFadden was transported and lodged in the Baker County Jail.
