Altercation between mother and adult daughter leads to arrest

BAKER CITY – A physical altercation with her adult daughter led to the arrest of 68-year-old Shirley Carey of Baker City.

According to information from the Baker County Sheriff’s Office, the victim suffered facial injury as a result of the incident. Carey was charged with Assault IV (Domestic Violence) and is current lodged in the Baker County Jail.
