WALLA WALLA – Two brothers arrested in connection with a shooting last month on the 200 block of Tausick Way will both be arraigned on Monday, Aug. 9 in Walla Walla County Superior Court at 3 p.m.

Miguel Angel Ferrusca Jr., 21, was the first to be arrested. He was originally scheduled to be arraigned Monday, Aug. 2, but Walla Walla County Prosecuting Attorney Jim Nagle said his arraignment has been continued to Monday, Aug. 9.

Miguel, along with his brother, Francisco Angel Ferrusca, 20, allegedly each possessed guns and were involved in the July 27 assault. Police say the victims had gone to the area to pick up a woman when Miguel asked them to get off the property and began shooting.

Detectives later determined that Francisco also fired at one of the victims. The victims were able to leave the area and flag down an ambulance near Second Avenue and Rose Street. Francisco was arrested late last week following a high-risk traffic stop.
