Airsoft guns fired near Nyssa Elementary School; suspects charged

NYSSA – The Nyssa Police Department reports that Tuesday afternoon just before the end of the school day, two young male suspects were “passing by the Nyssa Elementary School in a vehicle. One of the males used an airsoft gun and discharged soft pellets into the ground from inside of the vehicle as it was in motion. The School Resource Officer was given the report from the school principal who then responded, obtained a detailed description of the suspects and quickly located and apprehended them.”

The names of the suspects were not made available but both suspects are being charged with disorderly conduct and discharging an air gun within city limits.
