HUNTINGTON — The City of Huntington reports that folks interested in checking the air quality in town can now do so online. The Huntington Fire Department installed an air quality monitor at the fire station, and readings from the meter can be found at fire.airnow.gov/.
City officials recently wrote, “As long as our little dot is green, we’re good. Click on maps on the website and you can see air quality in places around the world. It’s really quite interesting.”
The city also explained that Huntington residents with respiratory conditions or other health issues can check to see the local air quality. Officials thanked Chief Bronson and the Huntington Volunteer Fire Department.
