Adrian School collects $3,000 donated by GUHS for family impacted by fire

JOHN DAY / ADRIAN – The holidays are all about coming together and sharing, and that’s just what Grant Union High School exhibited at a recent home basketball game against Adrian.

Recently, the Seiders family in Malheur County lost all they had in a house fire. The family were big supporters of Adrian School, who have begun efforts to collect donations for them. During halftime at the game against Grant Union in John Day, donations were taken for the family.

Both Grant Union and Adrian Schools gave special shout outs to Will Blood, Patriot Plumbing & Gear, Andy Lusco and Trista Strong for making it possible for Adrian to take home $3,000 of donated money to the Seiders family. Both schools shared the heartwarming efforts to social media.
