Adjusted circuit court schedules in Grant & Harney counties

GRANT & HARNEY COUNTIES – The Grant and Harney County circuit courts will have an adjusted schedule, including closures, in the coming days.

24th Judicial District Trial Court Administrator Samantha Dowell reports that on Friday, August 22nd, arraignments will be held at 11 a.m. for the Grant County Circuit Court. Then, beginning Thursday, September 4th, the entire Grant County Courthouse building will be closed from 1 until 5 p.m.

On Friday, September 5th, the Harney County Circuit Court will be under limited operation. The court window will be closed between noon and 5 p.m.

Also, a statewide circuit court closure will be held on October 22nd for a training.

Friday, August 22 โ€“ Grant:

  • Arraignments will be held at 11:00am.

Thursday, September 4 – Grant – Closure

  • Grant County Courthouse (entire building) will be closed from 1:00pm-5:00pm.
  • Arraignments will be held at 11:00am.
  • Harney County will handle Grantโ€™s operations remotely between 1:00pm-5:00pm.
  • Regular operations resume Friday, September 5 at 8:00am.

Friday September 5 โ€“ Harney โ€“ Operations Limited

  • Harney County Circuit Court window will be closed from 12:00pm-5:00pm.
    • Grant County will handle Harneyโ€™s operations remotely.
  • Arraignments will be held at 11:00am.
  • Regular operations resume Monday, September 8 at 8:00am.

Wednesday, October 22 – Statewide

  • Statewide Circuit Court Closure for training.
  • Regular operations resume Thursday, October 23 at 8:00am.
