WALLA WALLA – Firefighters in Walla Walla responded to a residential structure fire just after 6 p.m. Monday. Investigators said the cause of the fire was deemed accidental in nature.
When crews arrived at the single-story home on the 1600 block of Walla Walla Avenue, they found the homeowner exiting the residence with smoke and flames coming from the front door.
No injuries were reported, and damage is estimated at $75,000.
Crews from both the Walla Walla Fire Department and Walla Walla County Fire District No. 4 responded.
