A video created for Veterans by students

ISLAND CITY – Music teachers and students of Island City Elementary school have put together a video showing appreciation to Veteran’s on Veteran’s Day. In the past, an in-person show was presented to all, however because of COVID restrictions a video is the next best thing. The students said they want to thank veterans because they made sacrifices to protect the freedom we all enjoy. Singing from students and essay’s will be read from 4^th and 5^th grade students. The video will be on the La Grande School District’s Facebook page, La Grande School District | FacebookThursday, November 11^th.
