UNION, OR – Several fire departments were dispatched to a fire Tuesday morning in Union that was quickly extinguished on First Street. When firefighters arrived they found a small 12 by 14 building was engulfed in flames and was considered a total loss. A nearby garage was damaged. According to fire Chief of Union, Tod Hull said, the cause is being investigated. A passerby witnessed a propane tank from a bbq had exploded and landed in the front yard. The occupants that were in the adjacent house escaped with no injuries.
