A Resource Fair for all students will be held

LA GRANDE – Kathleen McCall, Youth in Transition Liaison for the La Grande School District discussed an upcoming student registration and resource fair that will be held, Thursday, August 12th. McCall said, “The Resource Fair is for ALL La Grande school district students and their families. At the fair, registration for Kindergarten to 8th Grade students new to the District and not yet registered will be available. The fair will be from 8 am to 6 pm at the La Grande Middle School. New students of La Grande High School need to register at La Grande High School on August 19th and 20th and parents of new students who are not able to attend the fair may register their students with the school secretary after August 13, 2021.”
Many local agencies and resources will be available at the fair to support students and parents with useful information as they prepare to return to school. The Union County CARE program, Cook Memorial Library, Community Connection and Child Care Referral Services, just to name a few.
