A look into the Grant Union Math Club

JOHN DAY – Grant Union Jr./Sr. High School Math Club members and captains were in the KJDY and News102 Newsroom Friday for Coffee Time.
The club recently held their in-school competition. 5th Grade Co-Captain and teacher Mrs. Anna Field said they’re looking to include 5th Grade students into the club, to help them get a feel for problem solving.
5th Grader Artemis McKnab said she enjoys her time with the Math Club:
“We meet every Tuesday and Friday. We have meetings where we practice math…and we have snacks! I really enjoy math. It’s fun, and it’s a good way to learn things.”
