WALLOWA, OR – The Wallowa School District recently received a grant through the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) Safe Routes to School Project Identification Program (PIP). The Wallowa School District will be working with the city, the county, and ODOT in this grant program. This program provides service to schools and communities to identify infrastructure projects.

The outcome of the PIP process will be a Safe Routes to School Infrastructure Plan, which will likely be used to apply for the ODOT Safe Routes to School Competitive or Rapid Infrastructure Grants in the future!
