UMATILLA – The 3rd Street Soccer field in Umatilla will be closed for the winter as city crews complete rehabilitation improvements.

The work is only ongoing at the soccer field. Officials said the basketball courts, parking areas, and restrooms will remain open.

City staff said they’re working to restore and enhance the soccer field for future use and will provide updates as work progresses. The plan is to reopen the field in Spring 2027.

“We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as we work to improve this recreational space,” the city said on its website.
